Hi

There is no response for my 2 earlier mails. Hence requesting through forum, if anyone can help me
It is installed. No Problem
Its working no Problem
Demo project compiled No Problem
But while buring on Disc in UDF 2.5 it says it may not play on some burners?
after burning UDF 2.01, I tried to b=play the burnt disc but it will not go beyond FBI warning plate

Betblender logo plates in the menu appears with lots of trailing images

Chapter, Feature, setup links are not working

Whe I tried from Go To link of Cyber Link HiDef Suite-Power DVD (latest Blu ray version)
It goes to various titles\\\\\\/

Please let me know , how the demo project will work properly?
Can we play the compiled project before burning the same?

Also let me know , how to use Meta Menu? I have already bought the same.
Regards
Chandna

Hi Chandra,

I can't really help with the demo project as we jumped straight in on a title of our own.

NetBlender Support has been excellent in my book, between both these forums and with emails. I know my work emails didn't seem to make it through their spam filter, but certainly via Gmail I've had no issues.

With regards to the UDF warning, I assume you are burning with Nero? I believe this warning relates to the fact that most PCs do not come with a UDF2.5 driver, so the disc would not be recognised. It is the filesystem you should use though.

Try burning again with UDF 2.5 and report back - I assume you're using BD-RE discs? :-)

Best of Luck!

Matt

Hi
I have already burnt with UDF2.5 and no problem in burning. The menu of Demo Project is still not functioning properly
The following problems are still there.
Betblender logo plates in the menu appears with lots of trailing images

Chapter, Feature, setup links are not working

Whe I tried from Go To link of Cyber Link HiDef Suite-Power DVD (latest Blu ray version)
It goes to various titles\\\\\\/

I tried another project in Sonic DVDit Pro HD and every function is perfectly working.

Net blender , dont have even link for how to use Meta Menu which I bough on their recommondation.
I wanted to buy netblender too but seeing their pre sale support, I am thinking otherwise.

Waiting for their response .

Hi Chandna,

Have you tried playing back the test project in anything other than PowerDVD?

I just downloaded the test project to make sure it is OK myself, compiled, and burned a UDF 2.5 BD-RE. It plays back just fine in winDVD, and my hardware players including the Samsung BDP1000 which was the very first (and worst?) blu-ray player.

I did try the project in powerDVD and yes, I do see the same problems you are seeing. I know I have spoken with NetBlender recently about player compatibility and there are known issues with powerDVD that I believe cyberlink will hopefully soon be providing a fix for. If you can, please try the test project in any other player and I think you will be pleased with the results. I believe at this time all other hardware players and software players are working correctly with discs created form DoStudio.

With regards to DVDit Pro. There is a fundamental difference between it and DoStudio... Blu-ray has two different modes for authoring, HDMV and BD-J. HDMV is a much simpler feature-set and much more similar to traditional DVD. This is the kind of disc that DVDit Pro is creating. The other, BD-J, is more complex, but allows more features, and this is the kind of disc that DoStudio creates. I haven't done a feature comparison, but DoStudio should be able to do everything DVDit can and more. For example there was just a thread discussing continuously random playing titles, but random that doesn't repeat until all options have been chosen... I know this cant be done in DVDit, but it can definitely be done in DoStudio.

Hi Chandna,

I have just re-sent you my email from last week to help solve the issue. Please let me know if you do not receive this email. The version of Cyberlink you are using has a known bug that they are fixing right now. A fix is expected to be released this week for their Studio Reference version. Till they have a fix I am sending you information on how to obtain a soft player that will work for you.

Sincerely,

Owen
